About my work
I would like to show you my artistic work on my website. In the gallery you can find sketches, painted or drawed outdoors and on location (plein air). You can also find elaborate paintings created and worked on in the home studio. Further you get some impressions of my painting classes and painting events. You can also find art lessons which are streamed on my personal facebook site and on twitch. Additionally, we plan to offer trips and activities with special „art and culture feelings“, where we combine traveling and art in action.
About myself
Through my education and professional background I learned and grew in terms of art, events and design and I am happy to engage with my passion. I studied costume design and visual arts in Italy, where I learned about different cultures and another way of living. Later on I gained years of experience working in the industry of theater, film production and advertisement.
About my art
The process of painting and drawing means to me the understanding of characters and the visual description of being – whether it’s a person, a landscape or even a tree. It is all about capturing the character and nature and entering with all senses. That is an inspiring work process and always a new adventure.
The other passion in my work is about capturing the light. As an example, I love to see the paintings of “Joachim Sorolla“, a Spanish impressionist. The colors he used are so vivid and full of light. This is one of the biggest challenges for artists and I am inspired by it.
The use of fine water colors, oils and acrylics define the different techniques. I work on sketches when I am outdoors or traveling. Those situations are always incredible experiences. I use the sketch as an idea and then elaborate the entire painting in my studio.
